The first step toward alleviating poverty is alleviating illiteracy. Education creates within each person the ability to support himself, his family and his society. This is why there is such a large focus on education at Rashidabad, where we have two private schools, a public school, a vocational training centre and the necessary facilities to facilitate and supplement education.
The educational institutions here are open to all students, and to make this possible, financial support is given to almost 30% of our students. While this support is given entirely on a need-basis, it is not disclosed at all. Apart from the individual and his family, nobody is aware of who is receiving financial support. We do this to build every student's self-worth and to avoid creating differences between students based on wealth and socio-economic status.
Teachers use a variety of proven methodologies, so as to engage students fully.

Teacher training takes place both in-house and at Karachi and Islamabad. Enhancing teachers' teaching abilities is an on-going process here. All teachers undergo the required training at the best possible institutions in phases for which RMWO pays all expenses. After all, it is a given that only a good teacher ensures a capable student.
